Meeka FM is in need of new energetic members to make the most of our station. We have a completely flexible schedule, we can train DJ’s and membership is really cheap. Tell everyone you know to give it a go, it is great fun!

Meeka FM is turning 10 years old on Saturday Feb 18, Tune in or come down to the station and help us celebrate this great milestone.

24/01.2006............. Sadly we say goodbye to our favorite Mixed Grill host Bob. Bob has returned to his home in Warnambool with partner Becky. He will be missed greatly.

17/12/2005 .........Meeka FM held a live music night on December 17 in the beer gardens behind the Meeka Hotel. It was a fun night. Santa clause made an appearance and was Preceeded into the area by Bill who played his bagpipes loudly and proudly.

Everyone who wanted to got to play some music though everyone wanted more time on stage. Thanks to the performers, Barry, Edgar and Trevor, Terry, Dennis, The Wingo family, Trevor, Paul, Gyan, Anita and Eric.

Thanks to the sponsors of the event, Woolworth’s and Yulella Vision,. And to the hard workers on the night, Bob, Becky, Graeme, Eric and Anita. There were so many more people who pitched in on the night to make it fun, thanks to you all.

We gave out many prizes during the night. There was a guitar case laying on the ground in front of the muso’s and we managed to raise $125.00 for Meeka FM.

We look forward to future fund raising activities like this one.
