The Mid Morning Program


From 9:30 to 10:30.Mon to Fri

The most regular community based show. Hosted by Outback Pete and the Meekatharra Bushman, the Mid morning program is informative and enjoyable. It is the show where new cd's are featured including all our promotional singles.




Mixed Grill

Choice cuts from the past and a few from now with local spice, 7pm to 9pm Tuesday nights with the Bob. The Mixed Grill is made up of 50’s to modern-day Electronic, Rock, Rhythm “N” Blues and everything in between.



Thursday Night Country

For all the latest country tunes, Thursday nights from 7:00 un till 10:00

The longest running and by far the most popular of Meeka fm's shows is our Thursday night country, Hosted by E-man and Outback Pete The show offers great news, competitions, prizes and a quick response time on requests, although our listeners have made a great game out of finding the most difficult songs to find. Often we are left to create songs just to fill the need.




A Wybenga Sunday

The BIG stories from 7:00 on Sunday nights

Roy Wybenga offers a great opinionated show which covers the best of Australian contempory music, Worldwide news and weather and good yarns that will leave you gripped with suspense. Roy often interviews interesting people and manages to haul the most politically minded locals over the coals. Great for a debate is our Roy.




Gran's Half Hour

For the kids at 10:30 Sat Mornings

All the kids in and around Meekatharra can sit back and listen to the cutest of songs, the most adorable radio scripts and the most interesting stories on Gran's half hour.

Guests on the show include James the travelling musician, The Meekatharra Bushman and Outback Pete.

A delightful show for all the family to enjoy.
